Hey Guys - Quick question (hopefully), please... I use nginx with php 7.2 on Windows 10 - mostly for reverse proxy for my locally hosted web services. If I leave OctoPrint (via RP) tab inactive for a few minutes, then go back to it, the page is blank and I must refresh it - sometimes it refreshes on its own but takes a while if so. This seems to be due to nginx as I haven't noticed it occby bzowk - How to...
Hey Guys - I use Nginx in my home lab as a reverse proxy for multiple locally hosted pages as well as add an SSL layer. Although I've successfully been able to configure most of my pages in the past, I'm having trouble with this one. Below are details followed by what I've tried with results… Details - Trying to forward URL which is hosted on port 80 of a LAN system - "http://prtgby bzowk - How to...
Hey Guys - I switched from Apache to NGINX a few months ago and love it - thanks to all who work on it! I've got a quick question I wanted to ask, please... I currently use NGINX on a Windows Server 2016 where I have an extensive configuration (for me at least) that includes SSL hosting, reverse proxy, and hosting Organizr 2 - all tied into a home domain name. Hey Guys - I recently moved my hosting to a new and up to date (1.15.8) version of NGINX (for Windows) with PHP 7.3.0 on a new system running Windows Server 2016. I mostly use the installation to host an internal page (Organizrv2), reverse proxy of internal sites, and to apply SSL using a 3rd party signed cert. When performance seemed slower than before, I started looking through NGINX's eby bzowk - How to...
Thanks for the reply... I just realized that reverse proxy doesnt have anything to do with it - sorry. Here's hopefully a better explaination. The root of my website is Organizr v2. It allows you to put shortcuts to other websites on the side then when clicking on one, typically opens it using iframe to show the selected page in the main windows while keeping the Organizr shortcuts on theby bzowk - How to...
Thanks for the reply, but no - all of the locations are correct. This only occurs on locations which direct to an http address. I have a couple that direct to an HTTP one (same SSL cert too) which work fine. For the HTTP ones, once I click the shield icon in Chrome's address bar then select "Load unsafe scripts"; everything including the HTTP locations work except that the site is shoby bzowk - How to...
Hey Guys - I have used Nginx for Windows for a while now in my home lab which I use for various purposes including hosting an internal website (uses Organizr v2) and reverse proxy. It listens on 80 & 443 but forwards all requests to 80 to 443 as I also have installed a 3rd party signed SSL vert for my home domain. This worked well until a recent migration of my Nginx installation toby bzowk - How to...
WAIT - Figured it out - It finally works! I found out that the proxy cache line was still in there. I commented it out, saved, and tried and it worked. Hopefully, it's not something I'll need :) Thanks Guys!by bzowk - How to...
Thanks! That actually makes sense. I changed the slashes to forward ones and tried to start Nginx again. The good news is that I didn't get the errors again. The bad news is that I got a different error: C:\nginx-1.6.2>nginx nginx: PEM_read_bio_X509_AUX("C:/nginx-1.6.2/kelnet.crt") failed (SSL: error:0906D06C:PEM routines:PEM_read_bio: no start line:Expecting: TRUSTED CERTby bzowk - How to...
OK - I tried copying over & using the conf file, but had to rename it to nginx.conf first (to match what I was using.) When running it, I kept getting errors that files / modules couldn't be found. I ended up coping the entire "tconf" folder over, renaming it to "conf", then performing a find/replace from "tconf" to "conf" in the config file. Still caby bzowk - How to...
OK, so I downloaded, extracted, and took a look at the conf file. I copied every line which had "ssl" in it, pasted it into my conf file, then made the following changes: - Removed "spdy" from listening line - Changed path+file name for .crt & .key I saved and tried again, but am still getting the exact same error! Hey Guys - I've been wanting to set up a Reverse Proxy for my hosted apps for a while now and after reading an article about Nginx yesterday; decided to give it a shot. The only part I have questions about & am getting errors with is adding my own purchased SSL cert. I purchased my SSL from GoDaddy based on a key I generated on the host computer and it has the same domain name as whatby bzowk - How to...
