Hello Nginx Community, I have an Nginx VM (built on Ubuntu 18.0.4) on a Proxmox VE Server. It is Reverse Proxying several other VMs. Over the last 5 days, after a couple hours at best, my Nginx VM will lock up and I'll be kicked out of it. What does the Terminal tell me? packet_write_wait: Connection to 192.168.0.101 port 22: Broken pipe (192.168.0.101 is the Internal IP for my Nginx Vby naupe - Other discussion
I think I've solved my problem, and would like to share it with others here since I haven't seen this recommended amongst the Nginx community. I shared this thread over on the r/nginx subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/nginx/comments/hmv3xx/how_to_keep_nginx_from_maxing_out_on_disk_space/ Rather then repost my solution here, I'll just link to my Comment with what I did: https://www.redditby naupe - How to...
So I'm in a very odd predicament. I have a Dell Server with the main OS as Proxmox VE 5.3, and with a Nginx VM plus 3 other VMs. The Nginx VM's job is to Reverse Proxy the other 3 VMs through the one Public IP Address. I also have HTTPS set up for the 3 VMs on the Nginx VM (Certbot). Took a long number of months for me to set up last year, and it generally works great! Except, about once a montby naupe - How to...
Francis Day, Wow ... that did it! You resolved my issue! After troubleshooting for 1 full week of troubleshooting, it's resolved! Thank you so much! So I edited my /etc/nginx/sites-available/discourse.conf file: * I changed THIS line: proxy_pass http://discourse.domainame.com:8080/; To THIS line: proxy_pass http://192.168.0.104:8080/; So basically calling the Local IP Address instby naupe - Nginx Mailing List - English
Recently I moved my Dell Server from one location to another, with a completely different Router. Its Main OS/VM Manager is Proxmox VE 5.3. I got an Nginx VM that is Reverse Proxying several other VMs. After configuring my new Router, I got several of my VMs to connect to the Internet (setting the same Private IPs to the same MAC Addresses, and opening the same ports for the same Private IPs).by naupe - Nginx Mailing List - English
I've created a post for this over in the /r/nginx Reddit community: https://www.reddit.com/r/nginx/comments/bq6g77/welcome_to_nginx_and_apache2_ubuntu_default_page/ How come I'm getting the "Welcome to nginx!" and "Apache2 Ubuntu Default Page" default pages? Where do I find these "default" pages in Nginx? The default Apache page is very odd for ownCloud. Its runniby naupe - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hello Nginx community. Maybe you guys can help me out? I recently bought a Dell R710 Server for my home network and have installed ProxMox VE 5.3 as the main OS for VMs. I already have multiple VMs hosted on this server, and eventually moved into a lab environment: a GitLab VM, Discourse Forum VM, etc. I'm quite new to setting up a web environment and have been taking the advice of a friendby naupe - New Member Introductions
