I migrated from Apache to Nginx and moved all my websites to a Nginx powered server.
My server specs: Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM, CentOS 6.4 64bit

I have 4 sites hosted on the servers, they are all wordpress sites. Combinet visits is about 4000/day

The problem I am having is php-fpm seems to stop responding about 3 to 4 times per day, with an error on the websites


Something has triggered an error on your website. This is the default error page for nginx that is distributed with EPEL. It is located /usr/share/nginx/html/50x.html
You should customize this error page for your own site or edit the error_page directive in the nginx configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf.

I have to restart php-fpm server every time to make it work again. As a temporary solution, I have setup a cron job to restart php-fpm every 2 hours. I know this isn't a solution to the problem, but at least seems to preven this problem from occouring.

I noticed in the php-fpm error log the following when this happens:

I did increase, decrease these settings in www.conf but, it always seems to reach the limit and crashes.

I've been trying to adjust these values but doesn't seem to help. Can somebody please help me configure this properly? I don't now what else to try at this point.
