configuring websockets in dev v1.3.8

Hi guys.
Trying to configure websockets in the dev version 1.3.8.
Chose the dev version since websockets "should" be supported from v1.3
Is websockets support added to the dev releases yet?

Using ubuntu 12.0.4 LTS
bins from nginx dev repository
