Problem with trailing slash in URL
August 29, 2012 05:22AM
Hi,

I'm quite new to NGINX and so I have the following problem:

If I try to open the URL: 'http://localhost/index.html' everything is ok. But if I append a trailing slash to the URL I get redirected to the error page:

URL: http://localhost/index.html/

In the error log it says: "C:\nginx-1.2.3/html/index.html/index.html" is not found

Looks like that the trailing slash tell NGINX that "index.html" is a folder and automatically appends again "index.html".

Is there a solution to use URLs with a trailing slash?

Best regards, and thx in advance!

Lukas
