I am using nginx with ssi. I would like to get nginx to cache the ssi template returned by my server (rails in this case). I have nginx caching turned on, and everything is cached except the ssi template. nginx always retrieves it from the server, regardless of how I set the cache-control headers.

I realize that the ssi template should be in a static directory, but I would still like rails to generate it for me, and then get nginx to cache it.

Is there a way to do this?
