Whenever I d/load FASTCGI - it installs anotherweb-server, & I tried & it didn't have FASTCGI included :(
Is there a dummies-guide to install FASTCGI with Nginx already loaded as a server ?
( WinXP )

Hmm
I don't think Nginx is actually being loaded / activated on start-up.
My vbatch file has this :-
@ECHO OFF
c:\nginx\nginx.exe > c:\nginx.out
ping 127.0.0.1 -n 1>NUL
echo Starting nginx
echo .
echo .
echo .
ping 127.0.0.1 >NUL
EXIT
(I added the > c:\nginx.out - But that has no output... )

Good day.
Has anyone got a good step-by-step guide for installing Codeigniter with NGINX...
I've found several via Google - But they only say "path/to/your/index.php file " etc... (Codeigniter has 4-5 index.php files i can see - *which* index.php file
Also, I want my C:\ directry structured like
c:\sites\website1\
c:\sites\website2\
One Codeigniter install - But multi

Good day,
I'm trying to install PHP on Nginx / Ubuntu (linux). - using Codeigniter
I have my html files in a directory /home/sites/SITE-NAME/
error message in logs
2010/08/26 00:15:49 4017#0: *1 open() "/usr/local/nginx/html/index.php" failed (2: No such file or directory),
in my /etc/nginx/sites-available/default file - I have

I had "default" on both 'listen' lines. I guess only 1 default is good :)

Another error - when I restart the server
gordon@gordon-desktop:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/nginx restart
Restarting nginx: : the duplicate default server in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default:23
configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed

OK, I've found the directory to edit the nginx html files & have created a subdirectory.localhost (the subdirectory points to my main welcome message (again)...)
HOWEVER :- If I try adding / changing virtual hosts - I get errors
website says host not found (for subdomain & main localhost)..
the error log for nginx says :-
2010/08/19 22:07:31 2223#0: bind() to 0.0.0.0:80
