If you're running ./configure, you must make 'cd' command to the path where 'configure' file is located. It means that you are not in that path. The second way out is to not write just './configure' but write full path, e.g. '/home/user_me/nginx-1.0.5/configure'.

Здравствуйте еще раз. Пришел к решению, что лучше всего будет реализовать модуль через upstream. Это позволит избавиться от блокировок, что мне, в принципе и нужно. Единственная проблема в том, что в таком случае придется пи

While reading nginx modules code I came to a thought that the best way to implement such login is a creating handler dealing with upstream so it will avoid blocking. This aproach resolves my issue but requires more programming as it is required to implement redis protocol by myself. It's good that the protocol is very simple and I actually don't need to implement the whole. Will it be a nice solut

How to...
Hi. I've got a problem when writing nginx module. For now my module adds handler to NGX_HTTP_ACCESS_PHASE. That handler connects to redis and makes it's operations to check if request has rights to go further. That's not good because I'm using blocking API (cRedis lib). I'd like to user hiRedis async API to avoid socket blocks. What's the best way to organize module architecture to do that task?

I've resolved the problem by addind 'init' function into postconfiguration slot of module context.
The next problem is to find out how to get module conf variables from there

I've tried to start and I faced a 'segmentation fault' error. I tried to add handler to NGX_HTTP_ACCESS_PHASE and that causes segmentation fault. Here's the code. Init function is called from merge_loc_conf function...

To be more precise I need some functionalty to check request and pass it to some (formed manually) other url if it passes check procedure and if the check fails - return 404 back to client.
Thank you.

Hi. I'm new to nginx module development and I'm going to write a module that must do everything that http_proxy module does except it must do some checks before request is passed to the upstream. What's the best way to do that?
Thank you.
