Thx for reaching out @itpp2012 I managed to get this up and running by using the alias instead of root parameter on my Nginx instance on the inside. Thx and have a great day Cheers thgby thg - How to...
Maybe it would have been easier to just ask if it is possible to route from one Nginx instance to another Nginx instance? Sorry about that! Cheers thgby thg - How to...
Hi, I am trying to accomplish the following scenario: 1. Requests from the Internet goes to our Citrix NetScaler frontend - working 2. NetScaler passes on to Nginx in DMZ - working 3. Nginx sends requests to an internal server for mycompany.com/analytics and mycompany.com/xmlp - working 4. If anything besides analytics or xmlp is requested, the analytics page should be shown - working 5.by thg - How to...
It turned out that this config worked afterall. server { listen 80; server_name bi.myserver.com; location / { return 301 /(analytics|xmlpserver); } location /analytics { proxy_pass http://server011:9502; } location /xmlpserver { proxy_pass http://server011:9502; } } We have a Netscaler in front that had caching turned on for this site. Hi, I am trying to setup route to these 2 url's that are located on the same server and port. Weblogic is handling the incoming traffic on the server/port and directs accordingly. https://bi.mydomain.com/analytics/ https://bi.mydomain.com/xmlpserver/ Current nginx config looks like this: server { listen 80; server_name bi.mydomain.com; location / { return 301 /analytby thg - How to...
Hi, A delayed update from my side. I have on and off been looking at this issue but have not found a solution until now. I had not tried upgrading to a newer version of Nginx. I tried the latest version 1.9.9 today and now it works as a charm. Do not ask me how but fixed it is :-) Thanks for trying to help me out on this one! Cheers thgby thg - Other discussion
Hi, Got some help here with cURL and it seems there are no browser issue (I have never used this tool before). My helper also indicated that by being able to upload files <20MB browser issues would not be the case. I am not sure that I really got to disable buffering in Nginx. Would you happen to know the correct syntax? Cheers thgby thg - Other discussion
Also tried proxy_buffering off; but I am still unable to get it to work. Appreciate any help with getting the correct syntax.by thg - Other discussion
Tried adding this line but it made no difference. Did I miss something? proxy_ignore_headers X-Accel-Buffering;by thg - Other discussion

Hi, We are running Nginx in front of several of our different webpages/services. Among others Jira is one of them. We are now facing a problem when trying to upload larger files to Jira. In Jira the default attachments size is 10MB. I have raised that to 100MB. In Nginx config I added this line: "client_max_body_size 100M;" What happens is that I am somehow able to upload filesby thg - Other discussion
Hi, Got to talk to my network guys and they said something about wildcards that was not added?! and that that was why only www.example.com would work. I consider this solved then. Thank you itpp2012 for your help! Cheers thgby thg - How to...
I added index index.html index.htm; to my location block and also placed a favicon.ico file in my wwwroot folder and voila, it works. However if I simply type example.com I get the http/1.1 error again as it adds https in front. Something for my network guys maybe or is it resolvable within Nginx? Cheers thgby thg - How to...
When pinging from internal server my netscaler replies successfully. Same as for other working websites handled by the Nginx. When trying to access webpage externally I get the Http/1.1 Service Unavailable message error. However when trying from an internal server I get a 403 forbidden from the Nginx server. Now looking, the error log gives me this: Line 556: 2015/08/07 15:18:15 10352#13280: *by thg - How to...
Thanks itpp2012 for your reply. I can't find any traces in either access or error log. Yesterdays test to www.workingdomain.com/test however is there (access log) Just verified with the network guys that netscaler has been configured properly and pointing to my Nginx. Any tip appreciated. Cheers thgby thg - How to...
Hi, I am newbie to Nginx and has been asked to do the following. My company has a new website underway and they would like to register the new site in our DNS (netscaler) and display an "under construction" message if someone visits the page. My network guys have registered the name in DNS and redirects www.example.com to my windows Nginx server. On Nginx I have added this to my confiby thg - How to...
