Php-fpm build problems on Ubuntu 10.04
June 08, 2010 06:56PM
I downloaded PHP 5.3.2 and checked out the 5.3 version of PHP-FPM (not
trunk).

After it's installed, I try "php-fpm start", but that just spits out
the runtime options. When I try "sudo php-fpm", I get the following
error:

Jun 08 22:43:54.485472 [ALERT] [pool www] min_spare_servers(0) must be
a positive value
Jun 08 22:43:54.485530 [ERROR] failed to post process the
configuration

Maybe this has to do with the configuration file that gets generated?
From reading the Wiki, I expect to have an XML config file in /etc/php-
fpm.conf. However, what I really get is a non-XML file in /usr/local/
etc/php-fpm.conf.default.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The syntax has been changed to INI weeks ago.

Look into /usr/local/etc/php-fpm.conf.default it's all documented.

You can create your own php-fpm.conf or tweak the default to feets your needs.
