Hi! Thanks for links. But my boss insist on using php 5.1.6 from base
repo. Is there patch for 5.1.6. version?

in this case I'd suggest using other kind of manager
(spawn-fcgi+monit/runit/god or supervisord) which then you can just
simply use whichever php (fcgi, ofc) available.

agreed. use spawn-fcgi or php -b $port with the appropriate
environment variables and a supervisor type process.
