different SAPI?

I tried svn.php.net source in my company's server, and phpinfo says
PHP Version 5.3.99-dev
Server API FPM/FastCGI

and I used dotdeb's apt source in my own blog, the phpinfo says
PHP Version 5.3.2-0.dotdeb.2
Server API CGI/FastCGI

What are the differences between them?

Hello,

The PHP 5.3.2 from Dotdeb is patched against the launchpad version of FPM.

The move to the SVN version has to be managed because of the INI syntax. Many users will have to take care about it before upgrading.

I'll announce the switch on Dotdeb's website as soon as it's ready, but waiting this, I'll stick to the lp flavour. Sorry.

/Guillaume

Formerly, I think the launchpad version of FPM is not compatible with PHP 5.3

LP is compatible with some 5.3... but is highly recommended to NOT use
it at all.
