I tried the tips on proxy_buffering from
http://nginx.org/pipermail/nginx/2008-March/003678.html and

proxy_ignore_client_abort on;
fastcgi_ignore_client_abort on;

from http://www.ruby-forum.com/topic/130527 .

Could it be so that, as suggested on the first link, only a partial file
is received, or sent to the client ?
