Nginx Raspberry - How to change Server Port

March 04, 2024 04:22PM
Hi all, I installed nginx on raspberry but I have a problem with ports.

I changed port from 80 to 81 on /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default file and changed my site folder from root /var/www/html; to root /valerio/SitoValerio;

If I access from browser with 192.168.1.100:81 i see my site correctly but if i access with 192.168.1.100 i keep seeing the default nginx site which is simultaneously responding on 80 as well.

In fact if I launch "nmap localhost" I see
80/tcp open http
81/tcp open hosts2-ns

Should I edit some other file to disable nginx from opening port 80 ? What could be the problem ? Thank you very much. Valerio.
