uwsgi_params (probably) contains the line

uwsgi_param PATH_INFO $document_uri;

$document_uri is described at
http://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_core_module.html#variables

Following descriptions and links from there will bring you to the
merge_slashes directive.

http://nginx.org/r/merge_slashes

Set that to "off" if you want contiguous slashes in the request not to
become a single slash in this server{} bock.
