flvtool2 only works for ... flv files!7

But yes, you may have to use such tool. It depends what spits out your
videos.

Also make sure your videos have keyframes.

For instance Vegas MainConceptAVC codec generates a video with only 1
keyframe. So even hinted, it wouldn't scrub.
