Hi, I have a similar error with version 0.8.36...

[emerg]: unknown directive "proxy_cache_path" in
/usr/local/nginx/nginx.conf:33

The line is the following:

proxy_cache_path /var/lib/nginx/cache levels=1:2
keys_zone=staticfilecache:180m max_size=500m;

what's wrong? thank you

(nginx -v --> nginx version: nginx/0.8.36)
