proxying SMTP+SSL to SSL-unaware mail server

September 02, 2010 04:55PM
Hi,

Is there a way to make nginx handle all the SSL/STARTTLS and proxy the
traffic to SSL-unaware SMTP server? How do I tell nginx not to use SSL when talking
to other server, even if e-mail client does use SSL when communicating with the nginx?

Is it possible at all and if not, would it be hard feature to implement?

Best regards,
