I still do not understand why you mention /123 directory, however,
according sniffed packets, you need something like this:

server {
server_name abc.com;
location / {
proxy_pass http://123.com;
proxy_set_header $host;
}
}
server {
server_name def.com;
location / {
proxy_pass http://123.com;
proxy_set_header $host;
}
}
