Nginx Cache'ing functionality vs XCache
August 17, 2009 08:49PM
Hi.

As I'm using Nginx 0.8.8.9 with PHP-FPM I was wondering if the implemented cache does the same as PHP cache engines do. I have XCache installed and I don't know if I should disable any one of these (nginx cache or xcache) so they won't interfere with each other.

Is there anyone here who can help me with my doubts?

I don't think that nginx is a opcode cache for PHP, XCache is doing a different thing then the nginx cache.
