Hi, I am doing some research on how to manipulate web content coming from my web servers without having to make any changes to the original content or web servers. what i need is a kind of a "Dynamic Content Proxy".

Can Nginx be a suitable platform for this ? to be a generic intermediate server of the flow of content from the web server to the client ?

I'm guessing as far as performance it's the best way to go since it's already optimized for this kind of flow.

Can anyone direct me on where to start and what would be the best way to work on this ? is this something that can be done by developing a Nginx module ?
