NGINX "Unauthorized" when accessing Remotely.
May 24, 2023 04:29PM
Hello

So far I have been using NGINX (NPM) and has been working flawlessly.
My question is that I want to access NGINX itself remotely to add/edit configurations.
When I do so, I get an UNAUTHORIZED error.... When I connect while ON the LAN, works fine... So something is being rejected remotely. Anyone run into this or is it a default block for security that I can modify/edit?

Not sure if this helps the situation but I notice I can not, remotely, access NGINX Proxy Manager if I have the "double" security on. If I make the Access Public, I can remotely get in but if I do the Access List and set up the user, it keeps saying unauthorized...But I copied and pasted the same password and it works so it is the double auth that is messing it up. Any suggestions by any chance?
