I'm a noob from the Apache world, where I had a complete grasp of creating rewrite rules. Nginx has kinda messed me up with its slightly different syntax.

Basically, I need mysite.com/vid/1 to rewrite for mysite.com/video.php?v=x, where x is any integer of any length.
