I'm trying to integrate nginx into buildroot (embedded linux generating system) as a package. The first and the foremost problem is nginx automated configuration - it presumes that nginx will be running on the system that it's being built on. In my case it's exactly opposite - the build is happening on i686 fedora machine but targeted architecture is mips and most (if not all) tools and libraries are very specific.
I tried to modify configure script and related files and discovered that this process is very involving. So, my question is: is there a substitute for configure script? If not then is there some way to alleviate the adaptation process?
