Reverse Proxy, HTTP, SSH, FTP Setup

Hello. I am new to nginx and have chosen to use it to forward domain requests to the appropriate servers.

My setup is as followed:

Single Public IP
...|__Router
...........|__ESXI 5.0
................|__nginx
................|__Centos 6
................|.......|__Site 1
................|.......|__Site 2
................|__Fedora 14

I have followed the instructions to setup http reverse proxy to handle multiple domains names to a single IP:
http://kbeezie.com/view/nginx-proxy-change-ip, http://wiki.nginx.org/ReverseProxyCachingExample

With only configuring it to listen to 80 and 443, do i need to configure the conf file to handle ssh, ftp and other various ports that this domain might use? or do all initial requests for a domain, http/https go through 80/443 then it gets passed and up to the destination server to handle the specific port requests?
