nginx, PHP-FPM, header() ?

I'm working on a php script in which a certain page should return a 403 error.

When I pass my php header, NGINX doesn't display the 403, and instead the page renders.

I'm using:

header('HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden');

Is there a way to make nginx display that 403 forbidden page?

Thanks in advance.
