How do I setup a php page using Nginx with the default settings?

I am new to Nginx and php and have downloaded Nginx and find it very useful.

I am trying to use a php page as my home page and can't figure things out.

It keeps making me download the php file instead of running it.

You'll need to have a PHP fast-cgi server installed with a script to spawn the fast cgi-processes - What distro are you using? Let me know and I'll find you some instructions - Dustin
