Was hoping that someone can help me out with setting up FastCGI spawning properly. The how to forge article seems to spawn a single instance of FastCGI at boot time. This concerned me since NGiNX can spawn multiple workers depending on what you set in the conf and you may end up with a bottleneck under load if you have one FastCGI process handling all the requests from those workers. After doing some digging I found the following (http://wiki.nginx.org/PHPFcgiExample). The code is more complex but appears to spawn FastCGI as needed up to the limit that I set.

Can someone point me as to the "correct" way to do this, I lean toward the NGiNX wiki.
