Explain Nginx allow ip to a newbie - 5 years ago

Hi there, I am newbie to the web world in general and I just deployed my first app in production which is hosted in a cloud service. So, I have created an admin page and I don't want anyone to be able to reach it. As far as I know, there are 2 options: a) place it under a strange url such as mysite.com/dascgcfcsdasfdsgkg/ rather than mysite.com/admin/ or b) within my nginx configuratio
