Hi Brian, I need to this inside my module, it already exists. Actually it responds to GET method and I need to add response to OPTIONS methods to support cross domain access, but want to send the response with cache headers, only for OPTIONS. This is the reason I need to do that by code. Regards, Wandenberg On Thu, Apr 26, 2012 at 8:19 AM, Brian Akins <brian@akins.org> wrote: > > Oby wandenberg - Nginx Development
Hi, I need to add response to OPTIONS method to a module to allow cross domain access, but I want to set cache control and expires headers, only for this method, to browsers does not ask this method frequently. How is the best way to do that? I have to add these headers to headers_out or has a function to do that for me? Hi, I am releasing version 0.3.3 of nginx push stream modulehttps://github.com/wandenberg/nginx-push-stream-module Changelog: * Adding JSONP support to pushstream.js and dynamically callback parameter * Adding event type feature to Event Source support * Adding tag and time available at message template, and make possible pass these values without set headers * Adding a reference count to the mby wandenberg - Nginx Mailing List - English
I think the problem is in config file. Try to set this HTTP_AUX_FILTER_MODULES="$HTTP_AUX_FILTER_MODULES ngx_http_simple_example_module " instead of this HTTP_MODULES="$HTTP_MODULES ngx_http_simple_example_module" To enable your module as a filter module Regards On Thu, Mar 1, 2012 at 2:22 PM, Lucas Brasilino <lucas.brasilino@gmail.com>wrote: > Hi! > > I gby wandenberg - Nginx Development
Hi, thanks for your responses. In fact, I already have written the module. What I want is reconfigure some values at some interval, getting the new values from another service. Is for this reason I need to do a request inside a timer, not from the nginx configuration or using another worker process just for that. If anyone can help me will be great. Hi, I would like to do a module which, at some interval, refresh part of its configuration getting some values from a external service. So I need to make a GET independent of a user request. Has any way to do that with nginx core functions or I have to use external libs? If somebody could send me an example will be great. Hello! Ok. But with this I can't use any other way to do a chunked connection. Is mandatory to use chunked filter. I'm doing a chunked encoding connection, only don't want to use this filter as I said before. Has any other way to use chunked connections without use chunked filter? Chunked filter could look to content-length instead only the enabled var? Or this be a responsible for header filtby wandenberg - Nginx Development
Hi, I don't know if there is some reason to disable keepalive if chunked filter is disabled. If don't have a reason for that I would ask to apply this patch to nginx core. --- src/http/modules/ngx_http_chunked_filter_module.c 2011-09-30 11:20:52.000000000 -0300 +++ src/http/modules/ngx_http_chunked_filter_module.c 2012-01-21 22:35:51.663785000 -0200 @@ -84,9 +84,6 @@ }by wandenberg - Nginx Development
You probably should use ngx_http_get_module_ctx/ngx_http_set_module_ctx to keep your timer reference, if you want to have one timer per request. ngx_http_get_module_loc_conf will do one timer per location. Hi, I would like to suggest a small patch for function ngx_http_test_reading to properly works under https connections. Using SSL_peek function to detect when request is ended by the client. I hope you accept it. Sorry Maxim. I didn't understood your answer. Can you explain better? Why this work for detect when users goes off on http, but not in https ?by wandenberg - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi, I use the function ngx_http_test_reading in the module Nginx Push Stream Module (https://github.com/wandenberg/nginx-push-stream-module) to know when the user goes off, but when using https this function always return a value on call n = recv(c->fd, buf, 1, MSG_PEEK); Checking what was happening and comparing with others calls on same file ngx_http_request.c I saw that others callsby wandenberg - Nginx Mailing List - English
