Hi All, I just downloaded and recompiled PHP 5.2.10 with PHP FPM support (latest 5.2.10 patch). Tried to start the PHP-FPM process but I get an error. Turns out it has to do with: php-cgi --fpm That is no longer considered a valid option? Please help. Thanksby iberkner - Php-fpm Mailing List - English
Thank you for the suggestion, I did just that. There were 2 things: 1) a version mismatch between the memcache server and what php was running and 2) the software I was running wasn't configured properly, although I think that (1) was the primary issue. Sorry for posting this on this group... as it wasn't nginx specific... our site is running on Nginx of course :-). On Tue, Mby iberkner - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi All, Setting up a local environment for testing purposes. CenOS 5.3, PHP 5.2.9 with php-fpm, etc. Installed and setup memcache. Switched php.ini settings to use memcache as session handler. phpinfo and php test script to use memcache server show settings are OK. Session management... not working. I'm really stuck... I can't figure out where to look... Basically, what's happenby iberkner - Nginx Mailing List - English
Floren, Thanks!!! Could you clarify for me how to actually install this patch? I'm not that familiar with this process just yet. I am compiling php directly so can include it in my php script. What I'm not clear on, is that 5.2.9 with phpfpm 5.2.8 is working... so what's the purpose of the patch? Again, my apologies for having this non-nginx discussion on here... really appreciatby iberkner - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi All, This question is not exactly related to Nginx (sorry), but is related to our php configuration for Nginx. There have been many discussions about php / php-fpm and the fact that there's no php-fpm version for php 5.2.9. I'm not 100% versed on these topics, so bear with me. There's also been discussion regarding a patch that would have to be applied in order to compile php 5.2.9by iberkner - Nginx Mailing List - English
Would someone a bit more experienced provide some more details on this issue? 1. Do you absolutely have to apply the patch in order to use php 5.2.9? 2. I have compiled php 5.2.9 with php-fpm 5.2.8 version and all seems ok? Are there errors that I should be looking for somwhere? Thanksby iberkner - Php-fpm Mailing List - English
