Sorry, my mistake. It's another problem. The server is not analyzing my zf1sandbox.sandbox.loc file, that includes the template for Zend Framework vhosts (include /etc/nginx/sites-available/ax-zf-vhost;), but is using my common template (ax-common-vhost).by automatix - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hello! I have to reopen this topic, because the issue is back... I have a basic host file, that defines thr root folder for a host as: # file ax-common-vhost server { if ($host ~ ^(?<project>.+)\.(?<area>.+)\.loc$) { set $folder "$area/$project"; } ... root /var/www/$folder/; } Now I want to add another basic vhost file for Zend Framby automatix - Nginx Mailing List - English

As I've already said: It can only be the server(-side) caching. Since revoming of the browser cache and Ctrl+F5 don't help. But now I think, it might be an issue of the virtual machine. Because when I edit the files directly from the VM* and not in my hosst system, sometimes I can see the changes in the Browser. * The files are saved in a shared folder, so I can access to them both -- from tby automatix - Nginx Mailing List - English

This issue doesn't appear anymore, since the problem I described in my thread "RegEx VHost name and the default VHost" (http://forum.nginx.org/read.php?2,235490) is resolved (solution: http://forum.nginx.org/read.php?2,235490,235500#msg-235500).by automatix - Nginx Mailing List - English
Thank you very much for the usefull links and the tip. Yes, the vhost default was not default. Now I've set it to default explicitly with the flaf default_server and everything works fine! Thank you, Valentin! Since "default server is the first one" (http://nginx.org/en/docs/http/request_processing.html), the problem must have been, that the server couldn't find a vhost for the reqby automatix - Nginx Mailing List - English

Hello! VHost names with RegEx is an absolutely imazing feature of nginx. I llllllllllllllove it! :) But now I've got an issue with it. On my VM I have a VHost templates ax-common-vhost and use it for VHsots like project.area.loc, so the server_name rule is: server_name ~^(.*)\.(.*)\.loc$; It works fine and has already saved much time for me. But the default VHost seems to get a troubleby automatix - Nginx Mailing List - English

Hello! There is an Nginx instance on one of my VMs (192.168.56.101) and three (enabled) vhosts: "default" and two further vhosts I created. When I enter the IP in my host browser or "localhost" in my guest browser, in both cases the default page (/usr/share/nginx/html/index.html) is displayed: It works! This is the default web page for this server. The web server sofby automatix - Nginx Mailing List - English
