Hello, Yeah thanks, I guessed it by reading the source, i should have done it before. Setting up "only" IPv6 works through IPv4 too. By the way, I saw you name in all headers, so thanks for the wonderful piece of software :) Regards, R.by r - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hello, Thanks for the quick answer. Well, I'm sure nothing is running on those port (except the same nginx on the IPv4 address with a "listen 80" entry). But you managed to make me find the real bug! I made two configuration files with the same entries but each one has different listen entries (so i have a nginx.conf-ipv4 and nginx.conf-ipv6). # nginx -c nginx.conf-ipv4 #by r - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hello, I tried to bind nginx to an IPv6 address but impossible... I got the following error: 2009/04/22 00:57:08 21264#0: bind() to [::]:80 failed (98: ) I'm not sure if nginx really supports IPv6, I just tested the --with-ipv6 switch for compilation regarding this thread : http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.nginx.english/9979 After modifying the configuration file with thisby r - Nginx Mailing List - English
