I still cant seem to get this working. I upgraded my PCRE libraries and recompiled/reinstalled a fresh nginx 1.0.12 # pcrecheck PCRE version 8.21 2011-12-12 Here is my server sections. Notice I have 2 server sections...the 1st section catches the WWW site and redirects it to the 2nd, non-www...right? I'm not able to get either one of these to work. I just upgraded to nginx 1.0.12 just to make sure my version wasn't an issue. I'm using nginx as a reverse proxy for about 2000 websites. I'm trying to find a good way to redirect all www traffic to nonwww addresses. I don't want to have a separate entry for every domain...just a global redirect in the server block preferably.
