I came across this post on the net http://snaprails.tumblr.com/post/325624962/linux-performance-benchmark-apache-nginx The author did some benchmarks and concluded that Ubuntu and Debian had some problems with web scalability while Gentoo got outstanding performance. Has anyone encountered this problem? Regards, Dinhby pcdinh - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi, I tried to configure nginx 0.8.29 with libatomic 1.2 (manually built and installed) by specifying --with-libatomic=/usr/local/lib (=> /usr/local/lib/libatomic_ops.a) OR --with-libatomic=../libatomic_ops-1.2 (=> source code only) but nginx shows no information to indicate if that configuration works or not -------------------------------- checking for OS + Linux 2by pcdinh - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi, Antony Dovgal, one of core PHP developers has just made an announcement that FPM (without PHP) has become an official PHP project. It seems that php-fpm can not detect libevent.a on CentOS 5.3 I compiled libevent into /usr/local/lib. Everything was OK. But when php-fpm was configured with --with-libevent=/usr/local/lib it said libevent.a was not found. What I needed to do is to change configuration to --with-libevent=shared,/usr/local/lib, it seemed to be fine I don't know if it is a PHP-FPM bug On Nov 28, 12:40 pm, &quoby pcdinh - Php-fpm Mailing List - English
Hi all, I just upgraded to nginx-0.8.13 and found that there is a change in alias routing, making part of my website does not work any more. My configuration location ~ /gostats($|/.*) { autoindex on; access_log off; alias /home/web/usage/site$1; index index.html; # if the requested file exists, return it immediatelyby pcdinh - Nginx Mailing List - English
