Since tomcat and nginx are both running in the same intranet, I doubt it's network problem... Just a wild guess, I'm running linux kernel 2.6.18, is there some kind of sysctl settings I need to tune a bit? Hi, I've seen lots of errors like "connect() failed (113: No route to host) while connecting to upstream" in the nginx error log. The upstream server is a Tomcat sitting behind nginx. I've checked the tomcat status and it seems to be running OK with only about 1/3 of the max allowed threads are being used. Any idea what could be the cause here? Thanks! Hi, Is there any way to configure nginx to set the expiration based on the mime type? Something similar to Apache's "ExpiresByType": http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_expires.html#expiresbytype Thanks, Michaelby gogobu - Nginx Mailing List - English

I've noticed the following config settings in the document: proxy_hide_header Content-Type; proxy_buffering off; Is there any particular reason for this setting? Just an idea, is it possible to enable proxy_buffering and use proxy_cache to cache the tracker URLs?by gogobu - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi all, In the reverse proxy node setup such as: "Reverse Proxy 1 : Nginx0.7.61 + mogilefs_module 1.0.2 - setting to download only" Is there a way to cache the result retrieved from trackers so that subsequent client requests of the same file won't need to ask for locations again from tracker? Ideally it could set a timeout parameter so if a storage node goes down the impact wouldby gogobu - Nginx Mailing List - English
