I figured that might be the problem but I wasn't sure. Thank you for the quick reply!by Usu - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi, I'm confused, I get this error by entering an IPv6 address in the set_real_ip_from directive: nginx: "set_real_ip_from" supports IPv4 only in /usr/local/nginx/conf/nginx.conf:65 But according to the changelog, that directive should support IPv6 since nginx 0.8.22: Changes with nginx 0.8.22 03 Nov 2009 [...] *) Feature: the &quby Usu - Nginx Mailing List - English

Hello, thanks for the help, I tried patching the 0.8.38 release but it's giving me an error: root@localhost:/usr/src/nginx-0.8.38# patch -p1 < ipv6.diff patching file src/core/ngx_connection.c Hunk #1 FAILED at 96. 1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file src/core/ngx_connection.c.rej And here's the file generated: *************** ngx_set_inherited_sockets(ngx_cycle_t *by Usu - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi! I've always upgraded nginx on the fly following this guide: http://wiki.nginx.org/NginxCommandLine without problems. I recently added IPv6 support to nginx and now, when I need to upgrade it, it doesn't start the new instance when I send the USR2 signal to the master process, giving the following erros: 2010/05/29 09:05:52 21060#0: using inherited sockets from "14;15;" 2010/by Usu - Nginx Mailing List - English
Yeah, I meant dynamic from svn, I've been using it for a few weeks without problems (except for the 502 thing but it's unreleated since it happens also using static and old php-fpm versions). Using static with an appropriate number of children leads to the 502 error, maybe the dynamic thing is just a workaround for this error because the processes are stopped and started a lot but this is just aby Usu - Php-fpm Mailing List - English
Finally somebody that has my very same problem (except for the segfaults, they stopped a few weeks ago, probably due to some upgrade, I don't really remember), but I don't think this is strictly php-fpm related, here's why: - Tried many different versions of php (5.2 and 5.3 branch) - Tried using 2 different spawn-cgi script instead of php-fpm - Tried using another webserver instead of nginx (ligby Usu - Php-fpm Mailing List - English

Hi, thanks for the replys. ulimit output: unilimited To run dstat I will have to wait until php becomes unresponsive, it could be hours or days, I can't reproduce it since it's not releated to the load on the server, I tried stressing it with Apache Benchmark but even with all the cpus at 100% the site was still working fine (only slow), I use munin and every time it happens I don't see any weby Usu - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi, I'm having the same problem for a few weeks now, after x hours/days php becomes unresponsive, I've already changed 2 different php-fastcgi spawning scripts and tried php-fpm as well, switched between many version of the php 5.2 and 5.3 branches but the problem still remains so I don't think it's a php issue even if that would be the most logical conclusion. I finally got it working! Here's the rewrite code: location ~ \.php$ { if ($query_string ~ "option=com_smf&Itemid=26&board=([^/]+)?$") { set $var $1; rewrite ^/index\.php$ /forum/index.php?board=$var permanent; } }by Usu - Migration from Other Servers
Ok, I figured that nginx can't handle the rewrite of an URL that contains a question mark like this: index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&board=132.0 all the parameters after the question mark are being ignored and treated as $query_string The only topic I've found regarding the matter is this: http://www.ruby-forum.com/topic/152723 I use fastcgi but I can't really understand how to apby Usu - Migration from Other Servers
I'm working on the new version of my site and when it'll be released I'll need to have redirect set up for the forum old URLs in order to keep the pages indexed by google. atm the forum URLs are based on the joomla bridge (the smf developed one) so a board URL looks like this: http://www.italiansubs.net/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&board=132.0 in the next version of the site thby Usu - Migration from Other Servers
