i set up a nginx server with php fastcgi last month, but i found a little problem with it. my frontpage is loaded in 8-10 seconds, but there is 7 seconds waste from the time when connected server, to the time when start to send the first byte. the real time which is used by the process of connection and transmission is short, i can't find a solution, could anybody help me?by digginchina - Nginx Mailing List - English

hi Piotr, i used nginx 0.75 before, and compile ngx_cache_purge with nginx 0.85.2, after ./configure --add-module=../ngx_cache_purge-1.2 ...(my own parameters) and make, i didn't run a make install and just cp objs/nginx covering the old one. it's general method when i upgrade the nginx. i found there is a file named ngx_cache_purge_module.o in the directory objs/addon/ngx_cache_purge-1.2, but iby digginchina - Nginx Mailing List - English

here is the structure: /images/thumbnails/ /watermark i use follow rewrite rule to add a watermark on my pictures. rewrite ^/images/(.*)\.jpg /wm/wm.php?$request_filename; i found it will rewrite with images/*.jpg and image/thumbnails/*.jpg, but actually i only wanna rewrite images/*.jpg, not subdirectories. then i change it to: rewrite ^/images/(.[^/])\.jpg /watermark/image.php?$reqby digginchina - Nginx Mailing List - English
