Hello, I am running into this download hanging issue. We are using nginx as a download server with SSL and secure download module enabled. When using nginx-0.7.67, it works well. But when we try to upgrade to nginx-0.8.54, there is a download hanging issue. We figured out it is related to keep-alive header or reusing TCP connection. Infinite loop after compiled with debug mode in nginx-0.8.54? - 13 years ago
Hello, I compiled nginx-0.8.54 with debug mode, also with ssl and secure download modules. As long as I started a file download, download is finished, but in the error.log, there seems to be an infinite loop to repeat following debug output forever. The patch works for me. I was running into same problem when I was doing "make" with nginx-0.9.2 on SunOS 5.10. "‘NGX_SYS_NERR’ undeclared" occurred. But after patching auto/unix, make command finally works. Thank you.by WilliamOMS - Nginx Mailing List - English
Some download hangs with nginx-0.8.52 - 14 years ago
This happens only with nginx-0.8.52, not 0.7.67. It seems a little weird and happens intermittently. In Firefox, when clicking download a file, it just hangs there. In nginx logs, I can't see any indication that it's processing or even getting the request. After clearing cache, it can be downloaded, but after a while, it will happen again. After specifying -I and -L for OpenSSL includes and library, it found the SSL library, although I still can see there are some error messages in autoconf.err. make and make install seem working too. I didn't spot any error in the console. But when I was trying to start nginx, it immediately print out following and failed. ld.so.1: nginx: fatal: libpcby WilliamOMS - Nginx Mailing List - English

Hello, I'm installing Nginx 0.8.40 on Solaris 10 with SSL module enabled.
