How to set geoip country code for Crimea - 3 years ago
Hi, I'd like to use the geoip module (v1) to block Crimea from access. The syntax that I'm using is: geoip_country /usr/share/GeoIP/GeoIP.dat; map $geoip_country_code $allowed_country { default yes; IR no; } As there is no ISO3166 code for Crimea (https://dev.maxmind.com/geoip/legacy/codes/iso3166/), I contacted Maxmind's support and they haby skwok - Nginx Mailing List - English
Need help on the deny directive - not denying the first time but on reload - 3 years ago
Hi, I'm using nginx to reverse-proxy a web app written in Javascript. For access control, I'm using the deny directive to deny users from accessing the menu items under the system menu; however, it does not deny it at the first time it loads but only at reloading. Hi, I've run into an issue which is very similar to https://forum.nginx.org/read.php?2,266453,266453#msg-266453, but with a different version such that the solution for that (directive `load_module`) is not available yet. I am building a docker container of nginx with modsecurity and geoip on Ubuntu Xenial, and I'm stuck with the geoip part as I can't find the instructions for version 1.9.7by skwok - Nginx Mailing List - English
