All emails ending at the destination note the sender as the actual backend and not nginx proxy. How can I force smtp outbound through nginx? I tried smtp_bind_address = proxy.ip.addr in main.cf for postfix. And tried adding an SNAT rule in iptables to route through the proxy with no luck. Any advice?by cybermass - Nginx Mailing List - English
I managed to write my php auth script but still having problems authenticating. Also this is what I see in the logs: 22014#0: *3234 recv() failed (111: Connection refused) while in http auth state, client: back.end.ip server: 0.0.0.0:993, login: "user@domain.com" Also do I call this script with the following auth_http line? I never see anything listening on 9000. Where is this 900by cybermass - Nginx Mailing List - English
Hi. I am looking to deploy nginx on a proxy server. The real backend is located in a remoate geographic location and has apache, mysql, dovecot and postfix services supporting an IMAP mail-server. I am a bit confused on how DNS is to be setup on both the proxy and the backend server. I am assuming that I define the nameservers in the registrar for the proxies (I will have two; one as a failover).by cybermass - Nginx Mailing List - English
