I am having an issue with NGINX 1.7.11 opening UDP connections to local resolver via loopback to pdns-recursor and exhausting sockets. After restarting NGINX the socket count keeps growing and within a couple of hours socket resource get exhausted causing NGINX lookup issues. nginx 4080 nobody 853u IPv4 345685655 0t0 UDP 127.0.0.1:40023->127.0.0.1:domby loki - Other discussion
I have recently upgraded to Nginx-1.6.0 from 1.4.2 and I am seeing that Nginx is swapping a lot. I have tried reducing vm.swappiness=0 but has not worked. I am seeing my NGINX server randomly hangup. Multiple worker processes utilizing 100% CPU. I see the hangups in strace, but not quite sure what would be causing the issue. 0.000081 futex(0x7f563c893068, FUTEX_WAIT, 0, NULL) = ?
