Hi folks, I have a requirement from a customer that the terminal slash be rewritten when accessing the homepage - eg example.com/ is a 301 to example.com I've tried a simple rewrite of ^/$ but that just loops. I monitor everything using munin, but any MRTG based product ( thanks again Tobi Oetiker! ) will do the job. I have a feeling that you may be taking the wrong approach... there is no need to use these subfolders for each storefront any more. Each separate storefront has an unique type / code pair, which needs to be passed to Magento to identify the site you're using. I find the simplest way to set it up is to map a couple of variables: Here's a completely untested example which should ensure that thby GreenGecko - Nginx Mailing List - English

Just a quick addition... I've tried it from this office, which is IPv4, and from IPv6 enabled locations. This makes no difference. Is there any way to stop / disable random file uploads... for example, I'm having 'fun' with mail relays being uploaded to the cache area of a wordpress site? Can't think of anything off the top of my head that would do it. If the apache access logs are showing a 500, then it's pointing to a PHP problem isn't it??? What's in the php-fpm logs? BTW if you're running php as fpm, why are you using apache at all? I certainly don't. Cheers, Steve On Wed, 2015-02-11 at 16:07 -0800, neubyr wrote: > > I have Nginx as reverse proxy in front of Apache. And of course, you should ask what the relevance of delivering a single, 100byte file a huge number of times actually has in real life, or where useful things - like comparison of server side languages behind various web servers - are tested. And yes, any web servers latency should be approximately zero for testing delivery of a static file locally ( also pointless ). returning empty_gif, ratheby GreenGecko - Nginx Mailing List - English
