Currently i have configured Nginx to use auth_basic for accessing some directory's. I use "auth_basic_user_file /path/to/.htpasswd", so store the user credentials. Since all the Credentials in this file are the same as a external IMAP Server has, and i must change them, if i change my IMAP Credentials, i wonder, if it is possible to use the IMAP Server as Authentication Backend directly?by Dentmaged52 - How to...

Hallo zusammen, ich bin noch ziemlich neu mit Nginx und kenne bisher eigentlich nur den Apache. Nginx dient bei aktuell nur dazu ein Verzeichnis über WebDAV freizugeben. Das klappt soweit ganz gut. Ich kann mich mit dem TotalCommander einloggen und Dateien hoch und runterladen. Wenn ich mit dem Browser auf den URL zugreife, erhalte ich das normale DirectoryIndexing vom Nginx.
