Hi all I am developing a proxy service which uses NGINX to reverse proxy, kind of CDN-like but very specific to our needs. During this. I have hit an issue which I *think* is a bug but wanted to ask in case anyone can point to a solution or some reading I can do. The problem I have is this: $upstream_http_NAME and $sent_http_NAME variables seem to be unpopulated/blank at some points in my coby neilstuartcraig - Nginx Mailing List - English
Update (in case anyone has interest): TLS session tickets work for simple configurations over H2 but in my use case (which has several scopes and includes/inheritance) it doesn't. I am working on a reproducible test case i can pass on in a bug report. I'll post the bug link here when i raise it.by neilstuartcraig - How to...
OK, after more experimentation, i figured it out...SSL/TLS session tickets do not work when a listener is HTTP2 enabled, or at least the logging of session reuse is broken. Can anyone else confirm please?by neilstuartcraig - How to...

Hi all I have a project i'm working on which i want to use ssl_session_tickets on, but i can't get it to work. My project is a caching proxy so it's not serving local content. Config (relevant part) is: listen 443; ssl on; ssl_certificate /etc/nginx/current/tls/certs/xxx.crt; ssl_certificate_key /etc/nginx/current/tls/private/xxx.key; ssl_protocols TLSv1 TLSv1.1 TLSv1.by neilstuartcraig - How to...
Hi everyone Despite searching the web a lot, i can't find a reason why i am unable to set the PHP config for magic_quotes_gpc in Nginx vhost config file. I've used the same format previously for other vars which worked fine but this one doesn't, any ideas: fastcgi_param php_value "magic_quotes_gpc=On"; I have tried loads of variants e.g. php_flag/php_admin_flag, 1/On etc but noby neilstuartcraig - How to...
Hi Nick Yes indeed, I agree with you on those workarounds...we need a proper solution! I will take a look at drizzle, thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to dust off my C skills! I'll post back here when I have some progress, might take a while but I'll do it. Cheersby neilstuartcraig - Ideas and Feature Requests
Hi all Firstly, thanks to everyone who has contributed to NGINX - it's looking really good from what i have seen, a very, very worthy replacement for the ageing Apache. I've just started using NGINX after years and years of using Apache and more recently lighttpd. I work for a company which develops, maintains and hosts websites for some large companies and at present we use a Windows .NET pby neilstuartcraig - Ideas and Feature Requests
