SPDY in the windows version - 9 years ago

It seems like nginx for Windows does not come with SPDY compiled. Is there any special reason for this? I use nginx installed on an SBS to enforce a Basic-Auth in front of IIS for enhanced protection, therefore want to stick with Windows in this scenario. SPDY would be rather proof of concept for OWA but I've also PHP-CGI and a MariaDB run the machine to serve other content where SPDY might be nic
