What you'd like to see in nginx
proxy protocol support - 10 years ago
Proxy protocol support is vital for some configurations. Only few products support this, for exampel haproxy. Please add this support to nginx. Someone already have wrote patch. We have upstream Proxy server. nginx does not run in our senario. We need Proxy_Protocol support. Some one have a patch for this. I compile patched nginx on Linux platforms successfuly but I cant compile on windows platform.
