Nginx on Win32: Installing Modules
April 04, 2010 09:18PM
I am looking for some information on how to compile/install modules for Nginx on Win32. I particularly need Upload Progress (ngx_http_uploadprogress_module.c) since I am using Nginx as reverse proxy to IIS, and this is the only way I know of to display upload progress bar.

Wiki for Upload Progress Module (http://wiki.nginx.org/NginxHttpUploadProgressModule) doesn't mention Windows support but Wiki for Nginx on Windows (http://nginx.org/en/docs/windows.html) says almost all features that work on Unix are working on Win32 (with a few exceptions).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Simon

AFAIK, Upload Progress Module is a third party add-on that needs to be added to nginx when it's compiled. Since nginx for Windows is available is binary only it's not possible to change the compile options.
