I am attempting to setup a mac mini to act as a POP/SMTP proxy for an internal mail
application to login to a SBC DSL associated account and proxy smtp sends and pop replies
from that account

I have nginx installed through mac ports, but am having a hard time finding the necessary configuration files
to setup nginx to do the necessary pop/smtp proxying so that the mailer application can send/receive mails to/from that SBC account by connecting to the mac mini with nginx installed.

Do I have the correct assumption that nginx can perform this function and can anyone point me to examples of how to configure it to do so?
