Also, some quick notes from responses so far:

a) Bug: Segfault when running a FPM-enabled "php-cgi -h" - thank you
for reporting this bug. Looks like I can reproduce it too easily.

[root@dev01 ~]# php -v
PHP 5.2.10 with Suhosin-Patch 0.9.7 (cli) (built: Jul 3 2009 11:31:38)
Copyright (c) 1997-2009 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2009 Zend Technologies
with Xdebug v2.0.4, Copyright (c) 2002-2008, by Derick Rethans
with Suhosin v0.9.27, Copyright (c) 2007, by SektionEins GmbH
[root@dev01 ~]# php-cgi -h
Segmentation fault

This does not happen with the 5.3.0 patch, however (unless it has to
do with Suhosin, which hasn't been put out for 5.3.0 yet)

b) Better compatibility with the Suhosin patch - what is not
compatible? I run both without any noticable issues (and have been
ever since I discovered PHP-FPM well over a year ago)
